UTV through the ice on Fox Lake in neighboring Dodge County

 

March 2, 2018 – Dodge Co., WI – At approximately 12:40 p.m. on March 2, 2018 the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report that a 2016 John Deere Gator UTV broke through the ice on Fox Lake.

The investigation revealed the gator was driven by Clarence Feucht and Raymond Joroch was the only passenger.

The UTV went through the ice near the East shore of Chief Kuno Trail.

The occupants were able to stand on the gator until they were assisted to shore by rescue personnel.

Both occupants were treated transported to Beaver Dam Hospital for minor injuries.

Dodge County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Randolph Fire and EMS along with Fox Lake Police Department, Fox Lake Fire and EMS and the WI state Patrol. T

he WI DNR was notified and will be working with the owner to remove the UTV from the lake.
