May 27, 2018 – West Bend, WI – A 40-year-old Rosendale man is facing felony charges following a high-speed chase through West Bend on Saturday.
Washington County Sheriff’s said around 6 p.m. Saturday, May 26 a blue car passed a deputy on the west side of West Bend on Highway 33 at a high rate of speed.
The deputy activated his lights and siren. Eventually West Bend police located the vehicle and the chase continued east on Highway 33.
Stop sticks were employed at Highway 33 and Chopper Drive and eventually the vehicle stopped shortly thereafter.
Traffic on Highway 33 was closed in both directions for about 20 minutes.
The operator of the vehicle was taken into custody for OWI, felony fleeing and drug related offenses.
