Sean Hargadon, corporate communications with the Lakeland District of the U.S. Post Office, submitted the latest update as the Post Office in Jackson reopened on Saturday.
The Jackson Post Office was closed last Thursday after a smell was reported inside the building. It appears the odor was caused by the neighboring plastics business. After environmental were conducted inside the facility, the building was cleared to reopen. Full retail operations began on Saturday, October 15.
