West Bend, WI – Ozaukee Christian School, 1214 Hwy 33, West Bend, WI, will be hosting an informational event for new students on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.
Ozaukee Christian School always strives to be an affordable option for parents seeking excellent Christian education. OCS’s tuition assistance program helps families cover up to 50 percent of tuition costs through funds raised by the school.
But OCS is about to become much more affordable for qualifying families through the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP). Starting with the 2024-2025 school year, WPCP will pay the full tuition cost for students in kindergarten through eighth grade if their family meets the program’s requirements.

To qualify for the state’s program, a family needs to meet an income requirement, reside in Wisconsin before April 18, and enroll between February 1 and April 18 for the 2024-2025 school year.
Admissions Coordinator Janet Swartz said OCS’s qualification for WPCP is one benefit of completing the 2.5-year-long accreditation process with the Association of Christian Schools International, which wrapped up last year.
Swartz said she is excited to see how the additional funding impacts OCS’s students. “For some of our current families, this could be the difference between just attending OCS and attending OCS while participating in sports and other extracurricular activities.”
Swartz said, she has a long list of parents to call and email in the coming weeks, families who desperately wanted to send their children to OCS but could not make the finances work even with tuition assistance.
