Dodge Co., Wi – The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, at the request of the United States Secret Service, is managing the traffic flow of visitors to the Dodge County Airport for the Trump Rally on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
The public is reminded that only ticketed attendees will be allowed on the grounds of the rally. Free tickets can be obtained on the campaign website. Tickets are subject to revocation by the campaign for not complying with the security requirements of the United States Secret Service and the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
A heavy presence of law enforcement will be on-site to ensure the safety and security of all persons and property.
All parking will take place on the grounds of the Dodge County Airport. There will be no organized offsite parking or shuttle services available. All attendees must enter via one of the entrance points designated by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office. ATVs and UTVs will not be permitted, as the entrance points are on State Highways which forbid the operation of ATVs and UTVs.
The established parking areas of the Dodge County Airport will open at 6:30 a.m. The security gates to the event will open at approximately 10 a.m. A list of prohibited items was published on the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office app yesterday in the “News” section of the app which is available on your Android or Apple device.

Walking to the event is strongly discouraged. Individuals will not be permitted to walk on Hwy 26 or Hwy 33. Individuals being dropped off intending to walk to the event will only be permitted at the Hwy 33/Fairfield Rd. entrance. They will need to follow the same route as vehicles entering the event.
Individuals walking will not be allowed to deviate from the vehicle traffic route, or they will be ejected from the event and could be charged with trespassing if they wander into a restricted area or onto private property. Law enforcement will refuse entry at any other location.
There will be 3 entry points to the event. Those entry points will be on State Highway 33/Fairfield Rd, State Highway 33/State Highway 26, and N. Main St/W. North St in the City of Juneau.
There will be no other permitted access points to the event. Please have your tickets ready to show at these gates for entry into the event. A digital copy on your mobile device is sufficient. Law enforcement will not allow you to enter the event if you do not show proof of a ticket. Once you reach one of the above listed traffic points, you will be directed to one of the gates for entry.

There will be other roadways that will be closed periodically before, during, and after the event for dignitary protection. Those closures could last about an hour or more. Please be patient, follow the directions on signs, and remember that you must follow the direction of law enforcement at all traffic control points.
ANTICIPATED ENTRY CLOSURE
It is the intent to allow all who want to attend, the ability to do so. However, entry to the event may be closed prior to the event starting. While the exact time that entry may be closed, it is recommended that all attendees arrive prior to noon for the best chance of entry to the event.
Dodge Co., Wi – Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt is distributing information regarding security, traffic, and access ahead of the Sunday, October 6, President Trump Rally at Dodge County Airport.
This morning the Trump Campaign announced that the Campaign isplanning a rally at the Dodge County Airport, N6491 State Highway 26, just north of Juneau. The rally will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024, beginning at 2 pm. The gates will open for entry beginning at 10:00 am. All information regarding free tickets to the event is available on the Trump Campaign website.
The public has been inquiring of the county as to some additional details regarding the event. To maintain a safe event, with efficient operations for our security staff, the following information is being released today. Details are still being worked out and additional information will be released as we get closer to the event.
We encourage the public to download the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office App on your Android or Apple device to stay up to date with information shared by the sheriff’s office. Please avoid calling to inquire of our 911 communications center or other departments in the county for information as they all have very limited information.
Our 911 communications center is also extremely busy with normal operations of fielding emergency calls and dispatching emergency services county wide. The best method for information is by downloading the sheriff’s office app and paying attention to the news feed for updates.
Below is the current information we can release today:
Traffic Plan: The traffic plan for this event is still in development and further information will be disseminated no later than Saturday, October 5, 2024, in advance of the event.
Security: The sheriff is working with numerous agencies in close collaboration with the United States Secret Service to ensure the safety of former President Trump, event attendees, and citizens in the county before, during, and after the event. The sheriff is arranging for a large and coordinated law enforcement presence to supplement the United States Secret Service protection at the event. Law enforcement presence will be heavy at the event.
Attendance: Only ticketed individuals (obtained free through the campaign website) will be permitted access to the airport. No one will be permitted to enter without registering and obtaining a ticket. It is the intent to allow all ticketed persons into the event but there are no guarantees. It is the hope that everyone who wants to attend will be able to attend, dependent on space and security.
Parking: Parking is anticipated to take place on the grounds of the airport. Upon arrival, security staff and parking attendants will assist with parking at the event.
Sheriff Dale Schmidt is asking for everyone’s patience and cooperation as this event is planned. Our staff will do everything possible to maintain peace and order for this event.
