November 25, 2019 – Washington Co., WI – UWM at Washington County traveled to UWGB – Marinette on Saturday for an Eastern divisional battle against the Buccaneers.
The Wildcats started the game strong with a 6-2 run powered by two three-point shots from Seth Perez.
Shortly after the strong start, the Wildcats conceded the lead, and UWGB at Marinette took a slight 40-38 lead into halftime.
The teams continued to battle and found themselves tied 59-59 halfway through the second half.
Then, the Wildcats began to get into foul trouble, and that put the Buccaneers in the bonus with eight minutes left in the game.
Eventually, UWGB at Marinette would hold on, and UWM at Washington County suffered the loss, 87-76.
The Wildcats had three scorers over 20 points with Seth Perez leading the way with 24 points. David Britton and Zach Smith added 21 points each.
The Wildcats are 0 – 3 in the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference Eastern Division.
Next home game is Wednesday, December 4 at 7:15 p.m. again UW-Oshkosh at Fond du Lac.
