The Kettle Moraine Lutheran Chargers saw its conference title hopes dashed with a defeat at Plymouth on Tuesday.
The Panthers were first on the board in the 21st minute, when a KML clearance took an unlucky bounce off Plymouth junior Conner Joseph and into the net.
The Chargers fought hard to level the score, but came up just short on several occasions.
Plymouth put the game away with an 84th minute goal from midfielder Anthony Vargas.
KML falls to 8-1-2 in the East Central this season, while Plymouth now sits at 10-0-1.
With only three conference games remaining, the Chargers will need a Plymouth loss to have any hope at the title.
Kettle Moraine hosts Winneconne on Thursday, hoping to rebound from this tough loss.
