Nov. 3, 2016 – Jackson, WI – Kettle Moraine Lutheran’s choirs will be performing “Armed Forces-Pride of America” during the school’s annual Veterans Day service which gets underway at 9:20 a.m. in the school’s Performing Arts Center. Doors open at 9 a.m.

The song features the anthems of all the branches of the military.

Junior Joshua Pahmeier has sung in two previous services and he has enjoyed it every time.

“It’s a neat experience to get the privilege of singing all of the anthems of our armed forces,” he said. “It really makes you feel grateful thinking about all of the men and women who serve our country.”

For many of the choir members, the Veterans Day service is a highlight of the year.

Pahmeier said, “It’s a really patriotic and energetic song, and it’s just very fun and lively to sing.”

All three of KML’s choirs have been working hard for weeks to prepare, and it will all pay off with a great performance.
