Teen involved in crash in neighboring Fond du Lac Co. flown to Children’s Hospital | By Fond du Lac County Sheriff

September 30, 2020 – Fond du Lac, WI – On September 29, 2020 at 6:42 p.m. the Fond du Lac County Communications Center received a 911 call advising of a single vehicle crash on CTH HHH near Lefeber Road, located in the Township of Calumet.

Crash is under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office along with Town of Calumet Fire Department and First Responders and Mt. Calvary Ambulance responded to the scene.
Through investigation it was determined an eastbound vehicle, driven by a 26-year-old Chilton man, attempted to pass another eastbound vehicle, driven by a 22-year-old Plymouth woman.

The driver of the passing vehicle lost control resulting in his vehicle rolling over. The driver suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene.
The passenger, a 15-year-old Chilton boy, suffered serious injuries and was transported by Mt. Calvary Ambulance to Ascension Calumet Hospital in Chilton.
From there he was flown by Flight for Life Medical Helicopter to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. Neither of the occupants were wearing their seatbelt.
The crash remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
CTH HHH was closed for approximately 2 ½ hours between CTH G and Schoenborn Road.
