Suspect apprehended following robbery at Fondy Kwik Trip | By Fond du Lac Police Dept.

July 14, 2024 – Fond du Lac, WI – On Monday, July 15, 2024, at approximately 3:38 a.m., the City of Fond du Lac Police Department (FDLPD) responded to Kwik Trip (158 N. Main Street) for a report of a robbery. The suspect had entered the Kwik Trip and placed a note on the counter that read “Give me all you got in the cash registers before everyone gets hurt.” No weapon was displayed during the robbery.

The suspect grabbed all the money from the cash registers along with some food and cigarette items before fleeing. The suspect was described as a white male wearing a white shirt and blue shorts.
As FDLPD Officers responded, the Fond du Lac County Communications Center advised that the suspect had left on foot northbound on N. Main Street. While searching the area FDLPD Officers located a male matching the description in the 100 block of W. Bank Street.
A FDLPD Officer attempted to stop the suspect when the male took off running. After a short foot pursuit, the suspect, a 19-year-old male Fond du Lac resident, was taken into custody. FDLPD recovered the more than $600 that was taken during the robbery.
The suspect was checked out at the scene by the City of Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue and had no injuries.
The 19-year-old suspect is being held at the Fond du Lac County Jail on multiple charges including robbery and bail jumping.
No further details are being released at this time.
The City of Fond du Lac Police Department was assisted by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue.

  1. WOW , what a shock. We need better DA’S and Judges. Too many low lives will use chance after chance. They have no respect for anyone including themselves. 20 Years should mean 20 years . Nothing less.
