February 5, 2024 – West Bend, WI – Calls have been placed to West Bend Police looking for an update on the condition of a child that was reportedly struck by the rear wheel of a vehicle as his father was backing up / parking a trailer at a home on Arthur Place.
According to police the incident happened January 26, 2024 at 7:35 p.m. The report from police is below.
01/26/24 – At 7:35 p.m. officers responded to a residence on Arthur Place for an injury accident. A 2-year-old child was standing near his uncle while his 40-year-old father was attempting to back/park a trailer. The boy ran away from the uncle and towards his father. The boy was struck by the rear wheel of the vehicle. The boy was transported to Children’s Hospital. The father did not show any indication of impairment.
The boy suffered minor injuries and police said no citations were issued.
