U.S. Senator Ron Johnson made a campaign stop in West Bend on Saturday and received a strong welcome.
Some of those in attendance at Republican Party Headquarters included State Supreme Court Justice Annette Ziegler, State Senator Duey Stroebel, and Washington County Clerk candidate Aggie Pruner.
“I have a grassroots effort of knocking on the doors and making phone calls,” Johnson said.
Medicaid, college education, and social security are some of the hot topics Johnson is addressing during the campaign.
“I’ve already filmed three different ads and I say sincerely that nobody in America should have to apologize for working hard and succeeding,” he said.
Johnson’s name will be on Tuesday’s ballot during the Partisan Primary Election on Aug. 9. Polls open at 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
