April 16, 2024 – Washington Co., Wi – Some rumbles of thunder as a strong line of storms move across Wisconsin and Washington County. The National Weather Service said some storms could produce heavy rainfall with winds up to 40 mph. High winds and a chance of hail are forecast for areas further south.

Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1 a.m.. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Low around 49. Breezy, with a southeast wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 11 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., then a chance of showers after 4 p.m. High near 64. Breezy, with a southeast wind 10 to 20 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

A 10 percent chance of showers before 7 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Breezy, with a west wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
