“Josh and I have known each other for a while and we thought if we combined our talents, we could really provide trusted service to the community where people could bring their vehicle for efficient repairs, or purchasing their vehicle, all with great customer service,” said Serwe.
While Serwe is armed with 12 years of sales-and-customer service experience, Yanke brings over 25 years of auto repair know how to the table.
“We can do just about everything,” said Yanke. “We have invested a lot in equipment with top-of-the-line tools and scanners, and, most importantly, we have the experience.”
For years Yanke grew his reputation as an ASE Certified Master Technician and GM Certified Master Technician working at Bob Fish and later Lynch Buick GMC.
“We’ll do normal maintenance like oil changes, brakes, tire rotation, but also electrical diagnostics, engine repair, transmission repair, A/C Systems and much more,” said Yanke. “We have the equipment and know how to do it right the first time and get you back on the road in a timely manner.”
Stellar Motors has three hoists and four work bays and will service any make or model, specializing in diesel and medium duty trucks.
While the team at Stellar Motors freshened up the building with elbow grease and a new front office and waiting area, the fellas did retain some history by saving treasures found between the walls.
According to Serwe, “Stellar Motors started with a goal to provide honest and fair automotive services in a clean and friendly environment.
“We provide the same high-quality servicing as the big franchise dealer, but with the same upfront, personal touch you get from your local repair shop. We service most makes and models covering everything for simple oil changes and routine maintenance to full engine and transmission, and everything in between.”

Aside from affordable and reliable vehicle maintenance and repairs, Stellar Motors will sell vehicles as well, Serwe’s specialty. “In the next month or so we will be up and running on the vehicle sales side as well. We will be holding to the same principles of honest, easy, and straight forward buying process.”
Questioned what will make Stellar Motors different, Serwe said, “An honest, upfront process.”
“All of our processes that we have in place, with service software it will be easy for texting or emailing estimates, invoices, as well as payment. All designed to keep our customers informed and aware of what is going on with their vehicle. Pickup and drop off will be easier with a designated area to drop off and pick up keys after hours,” said Serwe.
“We offer lots of things that streamline the process and make it easy and informative.”
Stellar Motors will hold a grand opening on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
