Information above details the tornado drills that will take place in both the early afternoon (1 p.m. watch/1:45 p.m. warning) and the evening (6 p.m. watch/6:45 p.m. warning).
The combined Hartford/Slinger Siren System will only activate the sirens for the 1:45 p.m. test. Please note that due to technical hurdles within the statewide warning system, like last year, there will not be test watch/warning messages sent out or test alerts sent to cell phones.
Please note the Hartford/Slinger combined siren system will activate with the issuance of the simulated warning during the afternoon (13:45) portion of the drill. It is encouraged to everyone, at a minimum, to review your severe weather emergency preparedness procedures.
