Waukesha Co., WI – Neumann Companies of Pewaukee, WI, is sponsoring the April 2023 Stars & Stripes Honor Flight.
“Neumann Companies is a strong supporter of veteran organizations,” said Cindy Wegner, director of sales and marketing. “Because of their service we enjoy freedom and can live, work and raise our families in the greatest place in the world. This is a small way to say thank you. Stars and Stripes Honor Flight is run entirely by volunteers so nearly 100% of donations go directly to honor our veterans.”
The next flight out of Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport to Washington D.C. is Saturday, April 22, 2023.
“Veterans are flown to Washington DC to view the memorials that were built to honor them,” said Wegner. “All expenses related to the trip are covered for the veterans. They experience a day of honor and thanks and often healing that is long overdue.”
The Stars and Stripes Honor Flight is looking for veterans to sign up for future flights and be honored for their service.
The SSHF is looking for veterans who served active duty (beyond boot camp) in any location between 1941-1975 are eligible for their free Stars and Stripes Honor Flight.
