As the 19-week milestone is reached, carpenters continue to work on wood trusses for the front I-beams on the St. Peter church expansion construction project in Slinger.
Iron workers placed metal beams on the west-side of the church and roofers worked on the north side roof project.
In the lower church hall, pipe fitters worked on installing the sprinkler system and plumbers worked on the washrooms with toilet fixtures and water lines.
The cement blocks from the main church north wall are being removed and stone masons spent time on the masonry belt line around the north side of the outer church wall to emulate the past stone work and cream city brick from the church’s own stone pile.
