Special honorary walk-through to be held Sunday afternoon in memory of Cade Werner

March 19, 2017 – Rubicon, WI – There will be a special walk-through service today for Cade Peter Werner, 14, of Rubicon who died March 14 following a car accident in neighboring Dodge County.

Family will greet relatives and friends at the church from 1-6:45 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m.

The Hartford Fire Department will be present at 1:30 p.m. for an honorary walk-through.

 

Cade’s Family would like to share their sincerest appreciation to: the Hartford Fire & Rescue Department, the Neosho First Responders, Dodge County Sheriff’s Department, Flight Life for all they did to help Cade, the incredible caring nursing staff and doctors at Children’s Hospital, all of Cade’s visitors who’ve offered endless support.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 20, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church, (W1170 Rome Road, Rubicon WI 53078) with Fr. David LaPlante officiating.  Interment in St. John Cemetery.

Cade was an organ donor who was able to give six gifts prolonging and saving other lives.

Cade was born on March 1, 2003 in Hartford, WI to Gloria C. (nee Schmitt) and Thomas A. Werner. He was in 8th grade at Honor Intermediate School and was a very intelligent student who took excelled classes at Hartford High School. Cade was also a talented athlete who played basketball, baseball, and ran cross country.
