Washington County Fair officials would like to extend an invitation to physically challenged individuals to attend the Washington County Fair for a “Special Disabilities Day” on Thursday, July 28, 2010 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.
According to Sandy Lang, Fair Manager, this invitation entitles all physically challenged people, along with a chaperone, to selected complimentary rides on the midway between 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. (weather permitting). This event is sponsored by Rainbow Valley Rides.
We would ask that individuals and their chaperones wear a special wristband which helps carnival staff to identify the physically challenged from others who might try to take advantage of this opportunity. Passes can be picked up at the Washington County Fair Park between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you have any questions, please contact the Fair Office at 262-677-5060.
This special wristband is for midway rides only. Individuals must purchase a daily admission pass for entrance to the Fair.
