January 12, 2024 – Germantown, WI – The Emergency Management Director of the Germantown Police Department has declared a Snow Emergency for the Village of Germantown.
The Snow Emergency will be in effect from 6 p.m. on Friday, January 12, through 6 a.m. on Sunday, January 14.
The snow event forecasted in the Washington County area has been updated with accumulation of 6-10 inches of snow possible.
 The snow emergency is to ensure the efficient operation of emergency vehicles during the snow event and to ensure the Department of Public Works is able to effectively achieve snow removal goals.
During the hours of the Snow Emergency, street parking is prohibited.
No person shall park, place or leave standing any automobile, truck or other vehicle on any street or public way.
Any vehicle that interferes with the operation of emergency vehicles or interferes with snow removal may be removed at the owner’s expense.
