February 19, 2022 – Slinger, WI – It’s time to bring an end to this notion that the leadership on the Slinger School Board is broken and needs to be overhauled. Let’s examine the facts:
1.State of the art facilities for both students and staff
- Highest test scores in the area
- Lowest cost per pupil in the county and one of the lowest in the state
- Open dialogue sessions at board meetings via Internet and in person
- On time responses from community member inquiries
- Multiple community surveys during each of our referendums
- Open dialogue meetings in person with community members
- No CRT lessons, or viewpoints being taught
- Citizen involvement with building designs
- One of the highest employee retention programs in the area
- SEA endorsement
- Endorsements by numerous prominent Slinger community leaders
- One of the highest graduation rates in the area
- High student achievement in academic and nonacademic activities
Does that sound like broken School Board leadership? Remember, we only have one thing to stand on and that’s our record and past performances. I believe we have proven time and time again to have fulfilled those promises I will continue to push forward the Slinger standards of excellence in every way possible, both today, tomorrow, next year, and for future generations. We don’t have the luxury to prattle, we must prove how good we are and how good we have been by backing our statements with facts.
If you agree with me then I would ask not for one vote but for three votes, myself and my 2 constituents Roman Weninger and Joe Havey on April 5.
Thank you
Gary Feltz
Current Slinger School Board member
