Slinger, Wi – The Slinger High School football team has won the WisSports.net Statewide Team of the Week in Wisconsin. Voting wrapped up today. Click BELOW to see how the Owls scored against four other teams across the state.
Slinger was one of five teams in the mix along with Ashwaubenon, Mayville, Potosi/Cassville, and Richland Center.
Slinger pulled in 2,400 votes followed by Potosi/Cassville with 1,465, Richland Center with 1,009, Mayville with 431, and Ashwaubenon with 156.

Slinger finished the regular season with an undefeated 9 – 0 record in the North Shore Conference.
Slinger is the No. 1 seed in D2 and hosts No. 8 Brookfield Central in a WIAA first-round playoff game Friday, October 25. Kickoff is 7 p.m.
