Slinger High School’s Bill Jacklin named WFCA/Green Bay Packers High School Coach of the Year | By Kristi Brooks

November 26, 2024 – Slinger, WI — Slinger High School is thrilled to announce Head Football Coach Bill Jacklin has been named the WFCA/Green Bay Packers High School Coach of the Year.

This prestigious honor recognizes Coach Jacklin’s outstanding leadership, dedication, and success in guiding the Slinger football program.

As part of this recognition, Coach Jacklin will also serve as the Packers’ nominee for the Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year Award. This national award honors coaches who exemplify integrity, achievement, and a commitment to their communities.

In addition to the honor, the Slinger High School football program will receive $2,000 from the Green Bay Packers and the NFL Foundation. If Coach Jacklin is selected as one of two finalists for the Don Shula Award in January, Slinger Football will have the opportunity for even greater financial support.

This achievement highlights Coach Jacklin’s dedication to his players, his commitment to excellence, and the strong sense of community within Slinger High School. We are proud to have him represent our school, our district, and our state at the national level.
