March 5, 2023 – Slinger, WI – On March 5, 2023, at around 10:59 a.m., the Slinger Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to an access road south of Highway 60 that runs adjacent to I-41 for a vehicle fire.
Upon arrival, officers determined there were no occupants inside the vehicle and the operator was safe.
Members of the Slinger Fire Department were able to quickly extinguish the fire. The truck is a total loss, there was no other property damage or injuries. The fire was not suspicious and was caused by a mechanical breakdown.
