Washington Co., WI – Neighbors in Washington County are enjoying a nice week of warmer temperatures. Signs of spring are becoming more and more noticeable as the winter’s snow melts.
Many are gauging the arrival of spring through plants and birds. The Cooper’s Hawk was spotted by Carol in Jackson. “It was on my fence. They fly like a dart and eat little birds so not easy to get a picture,” she said.
Sandhill cranes can also be seen exploring the farm fields on Pleasant Valley Road.
Buds are starting to appear on trees and bushes and tiny green plants are pushing through to daylight. What signs of spring are you seeing?
