Washington Co., WI – The 166th annual Washington County Fair is underway and visitors are saying it’s “one of the best ever” from the visiting Wisconsin Fairest of the Fair Kelsey Henderson, to top-notch exhibits, an exhilarating flyover on Military Day, to hardworking 4H and FFA entries in the animal barn, and enthusiastic endorsements from mustachioed friends.

“I represent the entire Wisconsin Fair industry which consists of 75 county district and state fairs that start at the end of June and ends in September,” said Henderson. “These fairs have an economic impact of $350 million annually. I travel across the state… and I call myself an ambassador and advocate for the Wisconsin Fair Industry.”
New this year are Washington County Fair t-shirts brought to you by Dahlberg O’Meara Law Group.
The exhibits in the Ziegler Building are a phenomenal showcase of local talent from photography to farming, quilting to cooking, and projects that highlight the skillset of hobbyists across Washington County.
A flyover on Military Day thrilled everyone at the Fair Park as the 8 planes, flying in formation, made three passes.
The day began with a flag-raising ceremony with local veterans groups in attendance.
The National Guard debuted its heavy artillery on Military Day. The equipment from units in Hartford, WI, and West Bend, WI, drew a lot of curious onlookers.
