VIDEO | Thunder, lightning, hail move through Washington, Ozaukee, Dodge counties

April 18, 2023  – Washington County, WI – A severe thunderstorm warning was issued Wednesday afternoon by the National Weather Service for northwestern Ozaukee County, southeastern Dodge County, and Washington County until 3:45 p.m. as a strong system carrying hail, lightning and thunder moved through the area.

Neighbors have been chiming in with pictures of some of the excitement (read hail).

Property loss management

Susan also showed off her collection of a mound of pea-size hail in Jackson, WI.

* At 306 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Slinger to near Iron Ridge, moving northeast at 45
  mph.

  HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

* Locations impacted include...
  West Bend, Hartford, Jackson, Slinger, Saukville, Kewaskum,
  Horicon, Juneau, Germantown, Belgium, Fredonia, Newburg,
  Hustisford, Iron Ridge, Addison, Rubicon, Woodland, Neosho,
  Waubeka, and Fillmore.
