Feb. 12, 2019 – Washington Co., WI – Another severe winter storm has forced school closings in the Washington County area.
Slinger Superintendent Daren Sievers said he was out driving some of the county subdivisions at 3:15 a.m. “The roads weren’t plowed, there was a lot of drifting and by the time I got back to my driveway my tire tracks were already covered in snow.”
The Museum of Wisconsin Art is closed today and the Curator Talk has been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 19 at 11:00-12:00.
Ron Naab of Allenton has been out plowing. “The visibility is worse now than when I first started. And what the heck are they going to do about high school basketball games tonight? This is the last week of the regular season.”

– Germantown School District
– West Bend School District
– Kewaskum School District
– All Kettle Moraine YMCA including babysitting, youth programs, and group fitness are canceled for Tuesday.
