West Bend, WI – Motorists in West Bend, Wi, will want to pay attention as the short cut on Sand Drive from River Road to Decorah Road is going to have a little reroute for about three months starting May 6, 2024.
Contractors will be working on underground utilities and road expansion on Sand Drive from Eastern Avenue, by the VFW Post, to Decorah Road. That section of Sand Drive runs north and south and intersects with Indiana Avenue by the old Pat’s Jiffy Stop.

Construction also includes include roadway excavation; installation of sanitary sewer, water main, and storm sewer, curb and gutter, sidewalk, road pavement; and restoration of disturbed areas.
If you’re looking to get through, alternate routes will be marked.
Depending on weather the work is expected to run May 6, 2024 – mid-August 2024.
