Rumbles of thunder as storm system moves through Washington Co., WI

March 28, 2025 – Washington Co., WI – Temperatures are expected to be in the 70’s today but watch for an early- morning storm to move through Washington County, WI, this Friday.

The National Weather Service is calling for Rain and thunderstorms before 10 a.m., then a slight chance of rain between 10am and 11am. High near 71. Southeast wind 5 to 15 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.

Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Friday night:
A 20 percent chance of rain after 3am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 52. Breezy, with a southwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Saturday:
A chance of rain and thunderstorms, then rain likely after 10am. Cloudy, with a temperature rising to near 56 by 8am, then falling to around 40 during the remainder of the day. West wind 10 to 15 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
