West Bend, WI – A facade sign has been installed at the new Ross Dress for Less in West Bend, WI.
It was June 23, 2022 when neighbors were hit with the news Office Max was closing on Paradise Drive.

Located in the West Bend Corporate Center in 1998 when it was a standalone building, Office Max had been a trusted staple (pun intended) in the community.
Over the past few years there’s been a lot of change on that strip:
– The corporate center sold in July 2021
- In April 2018 Boston Store/Elder Beerman closed after filing bankruptcy,
- Neighboring store MC Sports closed, and across the parking lot Pier 1 closed
- In April 2022, WashingtonCountyInsider.com was first to report Dunham’s Sports would open in the former Boston Store location. Dunham’s held its soft open October 17, 2022.
- It was May 5, 2022 when there was word Old Navy would be building out the former MC Sports location.
- The site superintendent said the new Ross Dress for Less is expected to open within the first quarter of 2023.
- There are 18 Ross Dress for Less stores in Wisconsin including one in Menomonee Falls and another in Beaver Dam.
