July 16, 2024 – Fond du Lac, WI – On Monday, June 24, 2024, at approximately 8:40 p.m., the City of Fond du Lac Police Department (FDLPD) responded to 18 E. Division Street (18 Hands Ale Haus) for a report of a robbery where a staff member was thrown to the ground and the suspects left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The investigation, and tips from sharing of social media posts containing the suspect’s pictures, led FDLPD to the Manitowoc (WI) area.
On July 8, 2024, with assistance from the Manitowoc Police Department and Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office, a 26-year-old Manitowoc male along with a 23-year-old Manitowoc female were taken into custody in the City of Manitowoc. Both were held on felony probation warrants and remain in custody at the Manitowoc County Jail.
A search warrant was executed at a residence in the City of Manitowoc and Officers located evidence of the June 24th robbery. As a result, the FDLPD referred a charge for the male of robbery with the use of force. The female was referred on the charge of robbery (party to the crime) with the use of force. A 16-year-old Manitowoc juvenile was also referred on the charge of robbery (party to the crime) with the use of force.
