May 3, 2022 – Washington County, WI – Beginning today, May 3, 2022, the intersection of Hwy 175/28 north of Theresa as well as the intersection of Hwy 67 north of Hwy 33 are closed.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT):
The 5.26-mile project will mill and resurface 2-½ to 4 inches of deteriorating pavement on Hwy 67 from the west junction of Hwy S (in the Town of Hubbard) to Ruedebusch Avenue (in the City of Mayville). Project work will also include some minor intersection improvements at the Hwy 33 intersection: new rumble strips, and new pavement marking.

Due to the extreme deterioration of the roadway, prior to this construction project, Dodge County is being provided a Local Force Account (LFA) to do the following:
Also, as part of the project, the Wisconsin & Southern Railroad Crossing will be completed. The work will be completed by the railroad, but it will utilize the WisDOT detour being proposed by this project.
Areas affected:
- The southern portion of the project (Hwy S to Hwy 33) will be constructed utilizing flaggers.
- The northern portion of Hwy 67 (Hwy 33 to Ruedebusch Ave) will be closed to through traffic during construction. Detour route posted above.
- The detour route will utilize Hwy 28 and Hwy 33.
