Riveredge Outdoor Learning Elementary School hosts community information night January 28

Newburg, WI – Join the Staff and Governance Council members of the Riveredge Outdoor Learning Elementary School for an information presentation about the school, curriculum, and culture. If you are considering enrolling your K-5 student in the school for the 2020-21 school year or are just a curious community member, we’d love to have you join us.

Community information meeting at Riveredge, 4458 County Hwy Y (Hawthorne Drive) begins at 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Riveredge Nature Center

Visits to the Kindergarten/1st grade classrooms will be possible at the end of the presentation. Visits to the yurt classrooms will be dependent on the evening’s weather.

Here’s what open spots we are anticipating for 2020-21:

Kindergarten: Open! We’ll be bringing in an entire new class of 18 students.

1st: Grade: Waiting list availability; waiting lists do carry over from year to year.

2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grades: Limited spots will be available in each grade. (4th/5th is a combined class of approximately nine 4th graders and nine 5th graders.)

Join us on January 28 to learn more.

Enrollment applications will also be available this evening.

The program will be held in the Barn near the Visitor Center at Riveredge Nature Center.
