Nov. 8, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – With 15 of 15 districts reporting in District 58 Rick Gundrum has unofficially won reelection to the Assembly.
“I’m very humbled and it’s quite an honor to be representing the 58th district in Madison,” said Gundrum. “I especially appreciate the people who helped in my campaign.”
During the last special election in April, Gundrum won the election however he lost the City of West Bend.
“I ran into a lot of people who never turned out to vote in that election or they went on vacation,” he said. “This time, obviously, the turnout helped.”
Gundrum said with a full 2-year term ahead he will work to resolve the Dark Store Theory, continue a strong push on developing the workforce in the state especially with apprenticeship programs and funding all forms of education including School Choice.
Gundrum will be sworn in again in Madison.
