Reward offered after gas station robbed for second time in a week

 

Jan. 4, 2017 – Town of Beaver Dam, WI – At 9:13 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 the BP at 1112 S. Madison St in the Town of Beaver Dam was robbed for a second time in the last week.  The Township of Beaver Dam Police and Dodge County Sheriff’s Office are jointly investigating the incident.

The suspect is described as being a white male, about 5’7” to about 5’10” tall, and having a thin build.  He was wearing a dark blue or black sweatshirt with a bandana across his face.  An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.  No weapon was displayed in the robbery, but it is important to note that the clerk acted appropriately not knowing if the suspect may have been hiding a weapon.  Video cameras are being reviewed but no images are available to be released at this time.  The suspect fled on foot in a northerly direction from the gas station toward the Lakecrest Drive apartment complexes.

BP Gas station is offering a $500 reward for credible informaRewtion leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator. Those with Information should contact the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office at 920-386-3726 ext. 4.

The sheriff’s office reminds the public if you see anything suspicious, please contact law enforcement and report it immediately.
