Retirement Understood helps celebrate the Christmas season at The Threshold

West Bend, WI – Randy Haeuser and his team from Retirement Understood volunteered this week to help the crew at The Threshold decorate some cookies for the Christmas season.

Haeuser joined with Jessica Kaminski of Sweet Dreams cottage bakery in Jackson to make the season a little more special for Threshold clients.

Ashley Luplow said volunteering at The Threshold was extremely rewarding.
“We all tend to get caught up in our day to day lives,” she said. “There are organizations and individuals who could always use a helping hand or just someone to bring some joy to their day.
“Seeking opportunities to get involved and volunteer is a great way to get to know our community. I had so much fun getting to know everyone at the Threshold and being able to bring some excitement to their day with cookie decorating.

“We all left with hearts full of gratitude and cannot wait for another opportunity to get involved.”
Retirement Understood finished the day with a kind donation to The Threshold, a non-profit organization based in West Bend, WI that “provides guidance, care, education and opportunity for people with intellectual and development disabilities in Wisconsin.”
