Allenton, Wi – The Allenton Fire Department and St. Lawrence Fire Company will have a special guest at the Open House and Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, October 6.
A full-size replica of the Rescue 51 vehicle many have seen on the television show, EMERGENCY.
This vehicle is a replica of the rescue truck used in the show during the mid-1970’s.
It is owned by Paul Rebers from the Wisconsin Rapids. Paul traveled to Los Angeles to take measurements and record design and manufacturing characteristics so his unit would be an exact replica. He has even purchased equipment that was used on the show.
This will truck along with many other apparatus from Allenton and St. Lawrence will be on display for the Open House in conjunction with the 2024 Fire Prevention Week.
Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Allenton Fire Station, 431 Railroad Street in Allenton on Sunday, October 6.
