September 24, 2022 – Washington Co., WI – Motorists were a bit gobsmacked at the pump on Saturday as a gallon of regular unleaded jumped overnight from $3.45 to $3.99.
The clerk at the counter said, “I don’t buy my gas in West Bend.”

The price in Slinger, Wi saw the same increase.
There had been some national rumbling about “September 24.” Not sure if this is it… or if ‘winter blend’ is here as Autumn started September 22, 2022.
What are the prices in your neck of the woods?
West Bend’s gas stations have over charged their customers for ever. I’ve lived here for over 30 years and can honestly say I’ve only bought gas in West Bend when it was absolutely necessary. There’s no reason ever given as to why West Bend’s gas costs more than neighboring communities because there is none, so that being the case… I’ll be happy to travel a distance to get a better price, and deny West Bend the tax revenue.
Looks like Biden’s energy policies are working as he planned. Let’s go Brandon!!!
Price not this high at other gas stations price gouging big time. I’m sick of this. Kwik trip no more Waukesha
Everyone is looking for a reason, it’s just Greed.
It’s just washington county… Winter blend affects a 5 or 6 county areas.. so it’s something else. Just check gas buddy prices haven’t jumped out side of Washington county. They look to have gone down in some areas seeing wholesale gas dropped a lot Friday.
biden energy policies are destroying America. Racine and Kenosha have also jumped up in price like this.
I thought we were already using winter blend. It is tax time increase for gas prices, just one month early.
Thanks Biden
I’m in waukesha and kwik trip is 3.99 as well. Not just Washington County.
It’s 3.89 in parts of Marathon county.
Just in time for the mid term elections, how ironic. We are all being played.
We were in IL this last weekend. The prices in IL were the same on Sunday as they were on Friday. The prices only increased in WI.
Northern wisconsin prices jumped 40 to 50 cents a gallon overnite
It’s not just you. I live in Florence County boarding Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and one station went from $3.59 on Saturday to $4.29 on Sunday. You’ll never see the price drop .70cents a gallon. Thanks Joe, close another pipeline!
No, it’s called greed. We’ve seen it before whether Dem or Repub. Plain unadulterated greed, it’s that simple.
I live up in Taylor county and the jumped up 40 cent’s. I work in Price county and it jumped up there to . I hope the people that voted this bunch of rats in are happy. Go Trump 2024!!!!!!!!
That has nothing to do with it, If you read keep up on what is happening, BP Refinery in Ohio had a fire and had to close.
Its 3.99 sunday at Stateline of Illinois/ wisconsin border in rock county.
Madison, Middletown and Verona area are same price give or take just a few cents
409 gallon in rhinelander
It’s $3.89–$3.99 in Madison(Dane County) too.
$.60 cheaper in FDL on September 26
In Alaska jumped 60 – as of the morning of the 26th
Bidens energy policies are not the only or even the biggest reason for rising prices. Oil shortages all over the world combined with rising demand, the war in Ukraine and the astronomical cost of renting oil rigging equipment( many companies are paying half million dollars a day to rent equipment so they can keep drilling )by oil companies does.OPEC has already tried to warn the world about rising prices because of shrinking global reserves. Europe is going to get hit far worse than we are this winter
