April 5, 2023 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend Plan Commission meets Wednesday, April 5, 2023 this week because of Tuesday’s Spring Election. One of the items on the agenda is a request by Steve Kilian for an additional right turn only exit driveway onto Highway 33 from his new Tommy’s Express Car Wash.
Have you seen the progress on Tommy’s Express Car Wash, 2110 W. Washington Street in West Bend, WI? Ground was broken in July 2022 and the state-of-the-art facility is expected to be open this coming spring.
Below is some of the discussion that’s already been reviewed. Early indications are the Plan Commission is going to be advised to turn down the request. See below.
Steve Kilian is the owner of the express car wash.

Below are photos of the progress on the project.
The express car wash can process 130 cars in an hour. There will also be a 20-bay vacuum center and a club card which will allow you to skip the line.
Below is a video when the old West Bend Wash was leveled.
On a history note: The West Bend Wash used to be Super Wash in 2011 when it was owned by Maggie and Dennis Seideman. Before that the business was owned by Todd Hepner and Dave Murry who bought it in September 2008.
The Plan Commission meeting is Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 6 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall. The meeting is open to the public.
