Ram on the loose in Town of Erin taken into protective custody | By Washington County Sheriff

November 18, 2020 – Town of Erin, WI – The ram that was reported on the loose earlier this week in the Town of Erin has been taken into protective custody.

According to Washington County Sheriff Martin Schulteis the ram was corralled around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 in the 4700 block of Monches Road.

“The animal was not harmed during the ‘arrest’ and was safely turned over to the Washington County Humane Society,” said Schulteis.

Currently the owner is not known. The Sheriff said there could be legal ramifications regarding animals running at large.
