If you win the Powerball jackpot tonight, you could be looking at possible early retirement!
Ticket sales for the $450 million jackpot have been brisk. The clerk at Hoffert’s on Main Street in West Bend defined sales as, “just crazy.”
Korneli’s Main Street Express, formerly Ma & Pa’s on the famed “Miracle Mile” in Fond du Lac, has added a couple of employees to help print tickets.
The store has had its share of big-money winners including a group of Sargento Foods employees that won $208 million in 2006.
Last January a Chilton couple won $1 million in the Powerball drawing at Korneli’s Prairie Express on the east side of Fond du Lac.
West Bend can brag about its $100,000 Holly Jolly Raffle winner from Dec. 10, 2015. That ticket was sold at Pick n’ Save south. The winner chose to remain anonymous.
