Here’s an image of Dist. 8 at the Threshold, 2380 W. Washington Street. Stopped to chat with voters and volunteer poll workers. Just past 1 p.m. there were about 515 people who voted today. The poll workers came stocked with 1,000 ballots and Randy Marquardt said they will be keeping an eye on things. He expected voting results, statewide, should be available by tonight.
The new Dist. 8 polling place has tons of parking, but voters said they wished the signage was better. Look for the lime green cone and the sign on the door that reads, “Vote Here.”
Somewhat disconcerting the construction on Highway 33 on Election Day at the entrance to Dist. 8 polling place. Motorists should just be aware if they’re westbound and there’s a traffic jam this afternoon.
There is a street sign outside the Masonic Lodge on University Drive, where Dist. 8 USED to vote. The address to the Threshold is in small print.
