October 14, 2023 – Fond du Lac Co., Wi – A police K9 was shot during a tactical situation in neighboring Fond du Lac County, Wi this Saturday morning, October 14, 2023.
According to reports a woman was held at gunpoint, law enforcement were on scene at 6 a.m. on Drury Place, a suspect was able to access a vehicle and flee the scene. Shots were reportedly exchanged with an officer and the K9 was struck.
The dog is being treated for injuries. Law enforcement returned fire and early word is the medical examiner was called to the scene as the suspect may be deceased.
