March 28, 2024 – West Bend, WI – West Bend police closed a portion of N. Main Street in the Barton area after a truck crashed into a power pole and took down some lines. The incident happened around 9:53 a.m.
Traffic is being rerouted from Fairview Drive by Property Loss Management south past the Soup Korner and St. Mary’s Cemetery to Roosevelt Drive.

West Bend Police Lt. Dan VanBeek said a food delivery truck hit some hanging wires. Traffic was shut down for about 20 minutes.
Law enforcement and We Energies are on scene. No injuries were reported.
The road was reopened shortly after 10:45 a.m.
