March 17, 2017 – West Bend, WI – A full house Friday afternoon at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Milwaukee as Bishops-elect Jeff Haines and James Schuerman were ordained by Archbishop Jerome E. Listecki in a 2 p.m. Mass.
Following the ceremony Bishop Jeff Haines said thanks.
“I would like to begin my words of gratitude by extending my heartfelt appreciation to our Holy Father, Pope Francis, for the calling to serve the church in my new role as Bishop. I am humbled and touched by His invitation and I’m profoundly inspired by His witness to the mercy of Jesus Christ.”
