Partisan Primary election results in Washington County

 

August 14, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – To see updated election results in Washington County click HERE.

 

Some unofficial results have already been posted.

 

In the Washington County Sheriff’s race Lt. Jason Guslick has conceded defeat to Captain Marty Schulteis who will be sworn in in January 2019.

In the race for Wisconsin Governor – Democrat Tony Evers will face off against incumbent Republican Scott Walker in November.

 

In the race for U.S. State Senate Leah Vukmir pulled in the most unofficial votes in Washington County and statewide. She will face off against incumbent Democrat Tammy Baldwin in November.

 

Fifth District Congressman F. James Sensenbrenner easily defeated Republican challenger Jennifer Hoppe Vipond. Sensenbrenner has been declared the unofficial winner statewide.

 

Tim Ramthun has won the seat in the 59th Assembly District in Washington County. More results are still pending as that district extends into neighboring counties including Fond du Lac and Sheboygan.

In neighboring Ozaukee County Republican coroner Timothy Deppisch beat Sharon Dane by an unofficial total of 8,593 – 2,209.

 

In neighboring Dodge County incumbent Sheriff Dale Schmidt has been declared the unofficial winner over challenger Jim Ketchem.

 

County Clerks will canvass the results by the end of this week.
