Plans for the new Festival Foods with a Caribou Coffee on the west endcap were reviewed and approved by the Hartford Plan Commission in June 2021.
Construction on the state-of-the-art grocery started in mid-2021 with a target finish of summer 2022.
Festival Foods initially had a target opening “by the end of summer.”
Festival Foods will now officially open Friday, August 12, 2022.
The store is looking to fill around 200 associate positions on its Hartford team and there are currently 10 jobs posted for Department Manager, Assistant Manager, etc. Click HERE to apply.
A couple notes:
- The neighboring strip mall is “in the planning stages” and there are “a number of interested tenants in the space.” (see above)
- That area, formerly home to Kmart, Sentry Foods, and Ponderosa Steakhouse will once again be a hot topic as Culver’s is nearly complete where the old Ponderosa once stood.
The Hartford, WI location will be the 40th Festival Foods in Wisconsin.
The 69,000-square-foot store offers a drive-thru for online shopping pickup, Caribou Coffee as well as many Festival Foods’ traditional favorites – a scratch bakery, extensive deli, meat and seafood selections, a hot food bar and food court, along with organic foods and a variety of take-home meals.
Excitement reigns, I have been in many Festival stores & always wished Hartford would get one & now my wish came true.
Can’t wait to try their scratch Bakery
Can’t wait for it to open, heard such good things about it.
I can’t wait.
It’s about time our area had a store this size that’s known for caring about the customer. At least I’m hoping that they deliver too. Delivery seems to be the thing of the future.
Welcoming you with open arms.
