February 9, 2023 – West Bend, WI – The facade at 1616 S. Main Street received a fresh coat of paint this week as a new shoe store is prepping to open at the Paradise Pavilion in West Bend, WI.
Shoe Sensation will be opening in the spot formerly home to Shoe Dept. According to retail neighbors the Shoe Dept. closed a couple years ago, and the space has since been vacant.

According to the Internet, Shoe Sensation is a chain store featuring “boots, sandals, dress, and athletic shoes for your entire family.”
There are four job openings posted for the new store. The opening date is February 17.
This isn’t the first Shoe Sensation in Washington County, WI. There’s one on Liberty Avenue in the strip mall across from Walmart in Hartford, Wi.
Paradise Pavilion has seen its fair share of shoe stores come and go. Wasn’t there a Payless inside Shopko and there was a Shoe Carnival in the Pavilion too back in the 2001.
