January 17, 2023 – West Bend, WI – Our favorite railroad traveler David Gehrke of West Bend, WI is ‘On the Rail Again’ with a train ride back home from Florida to Washington D.C. to Chicago and finally arriving in Milwaukee, WI.
Quite a few adventurers from Washington County hooked their caboose to Gehrke’s excursion in December 2022 when he left Milwaukee on Amtrak and ventured his way to warmth in Florida.

Gehrke’s ticket on the Silver Meteor is now punched to head out this afternoon from DeLand, FL and make his way to Union Station in Washington D.C.
